“We are so painfully complex. Sometimes we need help figuring out what exactly we are feeling. Sometimes we want some sort of justification, the reliving feeling of relating to anyone else. Those moments of intensity is what art is about. No matter what form it comes in, art needs to exist to help people. Ive always viewed this a natural relationship. It exists to add emotional expression and to be a tool for human connection. That’s what makes it all so special.
I’ve always wanted to do big things, great gestures. There may be a lot of people technically better than me but nobody has my mind. A mind that sees color like a natural language. A mind that can draw an image and color it in with music. A mind that creates stories and explodes with hyper imagination.
It’s my nature to think this way.
All I can do is create what I see. I don’t know if that makes me special. Why should the messenger be special? Just because you have a creative thought doesn’t mean you’re special. It just means you’re the one who helps bring diverse and unique expressions into the world.
I’m not special but I make special things and that’s enough for me. I hope you find them special too.”
